- Bio
- I come from a small town in eastern Colorado where I had a strong sense of community and hard work instilled in me. After I earned my teaching degree I began teaching in St. Johns, Arizona, a small community in northern Arizona for seven years. I taught a wide range of subjects ranging from Graphic Design, Art, Yearbook, Weight lifting and Wood Shop. I then moved into an elementary art teaching position in Yuma, Arizona. I taught there for three years before moving back to Colorado, and opened the Soaring Heights Prek-8 school in Erie, Colorado. Then I started at Sanborn Elementary. I love being a part of the Sanborn family! I have always had a passion for art and love passing that love and passion on to my students through many different types of art. I cannot wait to build and grow with my students and see the paths they take on in their art life and future all together. When I am not at school I love spending time in nature and adventuring to new places. I am starting to throw and fire ceramics at home and have a new interest in smoker cooking. I love traveling!
