Dear Sanborn Dragon Thunder,
I wanted to take a moment to appreciate the beautiful weather and the arrival of the fall season. The crisp air and vibrant foliage provide a wonderful backdrop to our school year. It’s been a joy to see our students thriving and enjoying their time at school. Their enthusiasm and engagement in their studies are truly heartwarming. As we continue through this academic year, I want to express my gratitude for your support and partnership in making this an exceptional learning environment for our children. We are getting ready for an exciting event! Our Dragon Dash Fundraiser is just around the corner, and it promises to be a fantastic day of fun and community spirit. As we gear up for this event, we’re also planning a range of enjoyable fall activities to celebrate the season. Let’s embrace the beauty of the season and look forward to the exciting adventures and opportunities that lie ahead for our young learners. Thank you for entrusting us with their education.
TOGETHER WE SOAR,
Mrs. Peeples

Our PASS group is hosting our annual Dragon Dash fundraiser this Friday, October 20th. Monies collected will go to the parent PASS group to help fund school needs. Students will run with their classmates and earn fun prizes! Donations will be collected through an online platform called 99 Pledges or through cash/check (to Sanborn PASS) donations. You can send cash/check donations to the front office! School fundraising is important because it funds students’ extracurricular activities, field trips, and other educational enrichment opportunities.
Thank you for your support!

On Tuesday, October 31st, Sanborn will be having our annual Costume Parade! Students can come dressed in their costumes to school and participate in a “parade” around our school. Starting at approximately 8:45, the parade will take place outside. We will have our students start the parade by exiting the building out of the front door. The line will start with Preschool and 1st grade will follow. Then will be 2nd grade with 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade following in order. The parade will walk around the side of the building toward the “Drive Up” side- students will stay on the sidewalks. The route will head toward the blacktop and circle around the blacktop play area. At that time, we will take the students inside and that will be the conclusion of the parade. We hope to see you there!!!
Halloween Costumes and snacks:
Costumes- please avoid “gory” costumes. Please note that students are not allowed to have any items that are considered “weapons” that go with the costume. Please also send in a change of clothes with your student so they can change out of their costume after the parade. Snacks– If you choose to send in snacks for your child’s class, please note that we can only allow for commercially produced, individually wrapped treats/drinks.
