 I am a proud Colorado Native who spent half my life in Boulder before moving to Longmont with my husband to raise our three children. All three of my kiddos attended Sanborn Elementary, where they created many wonderful memories, and later graduated from St. Vrain schools.

My Sanborn journey began as a parent volunteer and then as a PASS board member, serving as both vice president and president. I completed my student teaching here in first grade before officially joining the Sanborn staff. Over the years, I have taught 2nd grade and am now in my 17th year teaching 4th grade.

Throughout my time at Sanborn, I’ve had the privilege of supporting students beyond the classroom by being involved in clubs such as Drama, Glee, Chess, and Student Council.

Sanborn is more than just where I teach—it is my home. I am honored to be part of this community and can’t imagine teaching anywhere else. I am a PROUD SANBORN DRAGON!
