4-22-25

Dear Families,

As we head into the final stretch of the school year, I want to take a moment to recognize our students for their incredible effort during CMAS testing. I know they did their very best, and we are proud of the focus and determination they showed. CMAS scores will be available at the start of next school year, and we’ll be sharing those results with families at that time. In the meantime, we are preparing for our final rounds of i-Ready and DIBELS assessments for all grade levels. These tests are a valuable way to measure each student’s growth from the beginning of the year to now. Many students have set individual goals for their end-of-year growth, and this is their chance to show just how far they’ve come! Please help us encourage them to give it their all—every bit of effort counts. With field trips, special events, and our exciting Drama Performance in early May, the energy is high and we’re finishing the year full steam ahead! Thank you for your continued support and partnership—it means the world to us.

SIncerely,

Mrs. Peeples

Helping Your Child Stay Focused and Organized

Helping your child develop organizational skills will set them up for success both in school and life. Work together to create a system for keeping track of assignments, important dates, and school materials. You might use a planner, color-coded folders, or a checklist to help them stay organized. Teach them to break down larger tasks into smaller, manageable steps to avoid feeling overwhelmed. Establish a designated workspace at home for studying and completing homework, free from distractions. With practice, your child will gain the tools to stay focused and feel more in control of their learning.
