Parent-teacher conferences are a key opportunity for us to partner with you in your child’s education. These meetings allow us to share important updates about your child’s progress and work together to ensure their continued success. Please call the office with any questions, 303-772-3838.

For the safety of all students, we ask that children do not arrive on campus or play on the playground structure before 8:15 AM without an adult. Staff supervision begins at 8:15 AM, and students should not be on school grounds without an adult prior to that time. Thank you for helping us ensure a safe and supervised start to every school day.

Fall/ Halloween Fun and Parade: Friday, October 31st from 8:45-9:15AM Sanborn will be having our annual Fall/Halloween Parade! Students can come dressed in their costumes to school and participate in a “parade” around our school. The parade will take place outside. We will have our students start the parade by exiting the building out of the front door. The line will start with kindergarten and the rest of the grades will follow in order. The parade will walk around the side of the building toward the “Drive Up” side (23rd street). Students will stay on the sidewalks. The route will head toward the blacktop at the playground and circle around the blacktop play area. That will be the conclusion of the parade. At that time, we will take the students inside for them to continue thier day.
Costumes/Snacks: If you choose to send in snacks for your child’s class, please note that we can only allow for commercially produced, individually wrapped Halloween treats/drinks.
For costumes- please avoid “gory” costumes. Please note that students are not allowed to have any items that are considered “weapons” that go with the costume. Please also send in a change of clothes with your student so they can change out of their costume after the parade.

At Sanborn, we believe that strong schools are built through collaboration between families, staff, and the community. Our School Accountability Committee (SAC) values the input of parents and community members in shaping the educational experience for all students. By working together, we ensure that the unique needs of our school are met and that every child has the opportunity to thrive. The SAC serves in an advisory role to the school principal. While the principal is ultimately responsible for meeting all federal, state, and district requirements and achieving academic goals set by St. Vrain Valley Schools (SVVSD), SAC members provide valuable input and guidance in key areas.
What does the SAC do?
- Budget Priorities: Recommends spending priorities for school funds before the budget is finalized, ensuring alignment with the school’s core values and improvement plan.
- School Data and Unified Improvement Plans: Offers recommendations on the school’s Unified Improvement Plan (UIP) and meets quarterly to review progress toward improvement goals.
