Dear Dragon Families,
Happy New Year! I hope everyone enjoyed a restful and relaxing winter break and had time to recharge while making special memories with family and friends. As we return to school, it has been wonderful to see the excitement in our hallways as students and staff jump back into routines, schedules, and the rhythm of learning. We are eager to get back into the swing of things and build on the strong momentum from the first half of the year. Over the coming weeks, students will be setting end-of-year goals for reading and math growth, and this is a great opportunity to create simple New Year resolutions at home to support their progress. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation as we start the new year strong together.
Sincerely,
Lori Peeples
Principal

Setting Goals for the New Year
January is a perfect time to help your child set realistic goals for the rest of the school year. These can be academic, like improving reading skills, or personal, like being more organized. Break big goals into smaller steps and celebrate progress along the way. Goal setting teaches responsibility, persistence, and the joy of accomplishment.
