I earned my undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego, my teaching credential from San Diego State University, and my master’s degree in Technology in Education.

I have been teaching for over 12 years in 1st through 4th grade and have developed a true passion for helping students learn how to read. During COVID, I started my own reading tutoring business, where I worked one-on-one with students to build confidence and mastery in literacy. Supporting students as they discover the joy of reading has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

While I use technology strategically when it enhances learning, my heart lies in fostering strong foundational skills and creating meaningful, student-centered learning experiences. My goal is always to meet students where they are, help them achieve success, and nurture a lifelong love of learning.

Outside the classroom, I have been married for almost 14 years and have two wonderful children, ages 9 and 6. As a family, we enjoy hiking, playing games, and spending time outdoors with friends.
