Bio

I have been in education for 19 years, primarily teaching first grade (17 years) and kindergarten (2 years).  My passion for teaching came at an early age and my love for  teaching students how to read and write prompted me to get my Masters in Literacy.  My goal is to instill a love of reading in each and every student.

 

I grew up in Broomfield, CO. and have lived in Erie for the past 24 years. I have three children who are now young adults (Kendall, Chris, and Colby) and we love to spend time together traveling, watching sports, hiking, and enjoying quality time together.

I love spending my days with Sanborn students, watching them learn and grow, as well as teaching them new things!
