Bio: Longmont and the Saint Vrain Valley School District have been my home since I attended kindergarten. After I earned my teaching degree I began teaching in Bennett, a small community east of DIA for six years. Sanborn Elementary has been my home since 1998. I love being a part of the Sanborn family! I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th and kindergarten. Teaching kindergarten has been my passion for half of my teaching career. Kindergarteners bring joy to learning. They are always ready to explore and discover what new things they can do or learn every day. I value their adaptability and willingness to expand their knowledge. Nurturing this love of learning in a caring, supportive way is what I strive for every day. My kids attended Sanborn Elementary. I know that they were given a strong foundation to make the most out of every opportunity they have been given. My daughter Jaedyn is off to her next adventure and my son Andrew is close behind her. When I am not at school I love spending time with them playing games, cooking and watching movies. Pickleball is one of my new interests. I love volunteering!
