Eclipse:  As a reminder, Monday, April 8, a partial eclipse will be visible in Colorado between the approximate hours of 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Looking directly at the sun during an eclipse without proper safety eyewear can cause serious and permanent eye damage. The district is not planning and/or sponsoring any activities during the school day where students will be observing the partial eclipse outdoors, due to the safety risks involved.

CMAS Testing :  Beginning on April 9th, 2024, Colorado students in grades 3 through 5 will be participating in CMAS, which measures student proficiency on the Colorado Academic Standards. These standards serve as clear guidelines for what students should know and be able to do by the end of the academic year across various grade levels and subject areas. The assessments cover English language arts and math for grades 3-5, and science for grade 5. CMAS is a critical tool in assessing student progress and ensuring that our educational system is meeting the needs of our students.

IMPORTANT: ALL iPads at School:  In preparation for the upcoming assessments, we want to inform you that our school will need to keep all student (Grades K-5) iPads at school during this testing window to help ensure that each student is adequately prepared for testing. If you student has not returned their iPad to school, please send it in right away. All student iPads will remain at school until April 19th, 2024.
