Dear Sanborn Dragon Thunder,

As we approach the end of the second trimester, I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation and excitement for our Parent-Teacher Conferences.

These conferences serve as a crucial opportunity for us to come together as a community and discuss your child’s progress. They provide a valuable chance for collaboration between teachers, parents, and students, ensuring that we are all unified in our efforts to help our students reach their academic and personal goals.

I want to take a moment to highlight the incredible dedication and hard work of our staff here at Sanborn Elementary. Our teachers consistently go above and beyond to support and nurture our students, and their commitment to excellence is truly commendable.

Additionally, I encourage you to take part in the Education Foundation Tribute to Teachers by nominating a Sanborn teacher for Teacher of the Year. This is a wonderful opportunity to recognize and celebrate the outstanding contributions of our educators. There is a link listed below to nominate.

Lastly, I want to express my sincere appreciation for the cooperation and support we receive from our families. Your involvement plays a vital role in the success of our students, and I am truly grateful for your continued partnership.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to seeing you at the upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences!

Warm regards-DRAGONS SOAR TOGETHER!!

 Sincerely,

Lori Peeples

Principal

DRAGON DROPS

This month we will be discussing the “Entrepreneurial Spirit” with Sanborn students.  Encouraging children to cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit offers a myriad of benefits. Firstly, it fosters creativity and problem-solving skills as they navigate the challenges of creating and managing their own projects. Additionally, it instills resilience and adaptability as they learn to embrace failure as a natural part of the learning process. Entrepreneurial endeavors also nurture independence and self-confidence, empowering children to take initiative and pursue their passions. Furthermore, it provides valuable lessons in financial literacy and responsibility as they manage resources and budget their projects. Ultimately, fostering an entrepreneurial mindset equips children with the essential skills and mindset to thrive in an ever-changing and competitive world. We are excited to tap into some of the mindsets and skills entrepreneurs encompass.
