Dear Dragon Families,
As we enter our last week before winter break, our school is truly buzzing with excitement. We’ve enjoyed so many wonderful winter festivities here at Sanborn—our musical concerts have been absolutely amazing! A huge thank-you to Mrs. Sky for her incredible work with our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders. The beautiful winter decorations throughout the building remind us daily that this month is truly “SNOW Much Fun!” I hope you all have a joyful, restful winter break, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new year!
Sincerely,
Lori Peeples
Principal

We want to share a staffing update with our Sanborn families. Mrs. Hefferon will be leaving Sanborn after December 19th for personal and family reasons. She will be greatly missed, and we are deeply grateful for all she has contributed to our school community—she has truly been an asset to our students, staff, and families. At the same time, we are happy to welcome Mrs. Amy Kimerer as our new first-grade teacher. We are excited for her to join our Dragon Team and know she will be a wonderful addition to our community.

Keeping Learning Alive During Break
Winter break is a wonderful time for rest and family fun, but you can also sneak in learning through enjoyable activities. Try cooking together to practice math and reading skills, play educational games, or explore local museums and libraries. A little learning during the break helps prevent the “winter slide” and keeps kids curious and engaged.

WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR A SANBORN LEADERSHIP REP!!
