2-3-26

Hello Dragon Families,

February is already here, and it’s hard to believe how quickly this school year is flying by. As we move through this busy and exciting time, we are looking forward to welcoming families for parent-teacher conferences next week and continuing our strong home-school partnership. Our second trimester will conclude on February 12, and we will begin our final trimester of the school year on February 17. Students and staff are forging ahead with focus and determination as they work toward their end-of-year goals. We are so proud of our Dragons and all the hard work they continue to show each day.

Sincerely,

Lori Peeples

Principal

Sanborn – North Ridge Consolidation Information

We are asking all Sanborn families to complete an enrollment preference survey for the 2026-2027 school year by Friday, February 20. This survey will help us understand how many families plan to attend the upcoming open house events, gather preliminary information about your plans for next year, and allow us to begin developing the staffing plan for Sanborn for the 2026-2027 school year. The survey is not a binding decision, but the preliminary data is essential for our planning. It is critical that every family complete this survey. If you need technology assistance, a survey station is available in the main school office, and staff will be happy to help you. Please click the link below:

SVVSD will also be reopening a special open enrollment window from March 2 through March 13 for any families who wish to make an early transition for their student. We will share more information about the open enrollment process at the end of February. SVVSD is committed to walking alongside you and supporting you as we navigate this difficult transition and change together. The Importance of Kindness
Valentine’s Day reminds us of the power of kindness. Encourage your child to practice small acts of kindness at school and home, like giving compliments, helping a friend, or writing a thank-you note. Kindness builds empathy and strengthens friendships, creating a positive school environment where everyone feels valued.
