Bio
I feel so fortunate to have found a vocation working with students with special needs. I began my career in special education as a paraprofessional in Columbia, Missouri when my sons were in elementary school. Once my family and I moved to Fort Collins, Colorado I realized teaching was my true calling. With the support of my husband, I returned to school and soon began my teaching career at Sanborn in 2005. Each morning when I begin my commute from Fort Collins I feel gratitude for being able to be a part of the Sanborn Elementary school community. When I’m not teaching I enjoy rose gardening, walking, quilting and time with my family.
